The General Department of Traffic has created an electronic version of the driving license using Minister of Interior’s web-based applications “Absher Individuals” and the “Tawakkalna” applications.
The electronic driver’s license comes with the QR Code to confirm that drivers have the right to keep a copy on their phones and use it without the internet to connect.

Recently, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has launched Muqeem Digital ID, a electronic Version of Muqeem ID to be accessible on the ministry of interior’s latest online app “Absher Individuals” under the name of “Muqeem Digital ID” or Resident Digital ID.
