Like the identity card given in every country, Kuwait has its Civil ID. The Civil ID is also known as Bitaqa-Almadaniyah in Kuwait. The Civil ID is a proof that you are a citizen or resident of Kuwait. The Civil ID is a permit by which you can leave or enter the country. The Public Authority of Civil Information (PACI) issues the Civil ID. The Civil ID must be applied within 30 days after getting the residence visa for the new residents. With the Civil ID you can open a bank account, purchase a car, and do many services. If there are any changes in sponsor or if the residence permit is renewed or if the address changes the Civil ID must be updated. To check the status of the Civil ID, there are three methods. One is through website, another is through app, and through call. Here are the steps by which you can check the status of the Kuwait Civil ID.
Procedure To Check Civil ID Status Through Website
- Go To The Kuwait’s Official Online Portal.
- It Will Be Displayed “ Inquiring about civil Id Status.”
- Click On Civil ID Status.
- On The Next Page Enter Your Civil ID Number.
- Then Click On Query.
- If The Civil ID is Valid A Message Will Appear “ You are Holding a Valid Visa”
- If The Civil ID is Not Valid A Message Will Appear “According to our record you have not renew your ID.”
Procedure To Check Civil ID Status Through App
To check through the app you must download the Kuwait Civil ID App.
- Open The Civil ID App.
- Select The Language.
- Click On Civil ID Status.
- On The Next Page Enter Your Civil ID Number.
- Then Click On Query.
- The Results Will Appear.

- Dial 1990088
- Select The Language.
- Follow The Instructions Given.
- Give The Details.
- The Results Will Be Given.
