The digital version of the national identity card or residence permits Iqama for the citizens and expatriates has been launched by the Ministry of Interior. The digital iqama or the digital ID can be accessed through the Ministry of Interior’s Absher online portal. All the citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are enabled to register to the Ministry of Interior’s Absher online portal to get most of the benefits of the online service. Online services are offered by The Ministry of Interior through Absher through their online portal. The Absher was made to reduce the time and effort to do the tasks. You won’t have to carry the Iqama with you every time. Here is the procedure to activate the digital Iqama in Absher.
Procedure To Activate Digital Iqama In Absher
- Open the Ministry of Interior’s Absher website or mobile application.
- Login to the Absher through your Absher account.
- Go to My Services.
- Choose Activate Digital ID.
- On the next page click on Activate Digital ID which will be at the bottom of the page.
- The Digital Iqama will be activated.
- The Digital Iqama can be downloaded to access it without the internet.
